About The Design
The 300 Gallon Rainwater Poly-Barrel is available in a large 300 gallon size to meet your residential or commercial collection needs. The barrel shape has a smooth interior that resists algae build up while the top screen discourages debris and insects from entering the barrel. A solid brass threaded spigot allows dispensing to nearby flowers or you can hook up a hose to reach nearby landscaping. The two attachment locations allow for either bucket or hose applications while the overflow hole is positioned to prevent drainage against the house. Each barrel had a molded flat panel to fit securely against the side of your home and the barrels are linkable for increased capacity.
About The Materials
Each rain barrel is made of thick polyethylene resin material that blocks UV light and is resistant to fading and deterioration. Polyethylene is an extremely durable plastic that is ideal for outdoor products because of its resistance to rust, mold, mildew and rotting. Typically, polyethylene does not break down in landfills for approximately 200 years so use of this material provides you with extreme durability and strength when used as a rain barrel.
