About the Exclusive Signature Agave Column or Wall Mounted Mailbox
This decorative cast aluminum column mailbox insert can be matched with an optional newspaper box or address plaque. It features a tough powder coat finish in two different colors. The doors are sealed against the weather and its 22 gauge steel masonry box is electro-galvanized and powder coated to last a lifetime.

Signature Mailbox Dimensions (without security option)

• Faceplate: 11" x 14" x 1.75"
• Box: 8.5" x 11.5" x 15"

Add a security option to your Signature mailbox by installing a chute that drops your mail out of reach of unwanted hands. The mail drops down to a locking rear door for easy collection. The column mailbox chute is made of 16 gauge powder coated steel and includes a separate compartment for outgoing mail. Please note that the newspaper option is not available with the column mailbox security feature.

An aluminum newspaper box frame is available as an option. The faceplate is designed to match the finish on the box. A tough 22 gauge powder coated steel insert finishes off the interior of the box (9" x 6.75" x 15")

Also available is a matching cast aluminum address plaque with 3" brass numbers, which can hold up to 5 numbers (11" x 6.5")

Column Mounted Signature Mailbox: About the Materials Used
The door of the mailbox is crafted of 100% rust free die cast aluminum. Die cast products are produced by injecting molten metal under high pressure into a steel mold. This produces a stronger and more efficient product. Because die castings do not consist of separate parts welded or fastened together, the strength is that of the actual alloy rather than a specific weld. The interior cavity of the Signature is constructed of a composite material widely used in applications where rust resistance is needed.

A note about metal casting: Cast aluminum products are first poured in a sand mold that does not allow perfection in every detail. But that's the appeal of such castings. These "accidentals of art" lend an Old World charm to each piece that no artist could fashion intentionally. In effect, each one is a unique creation.

The Signature Column Mounted Mailbox is finished in a highly protective powder coat finish. Powder coating is well known for its uniform, durable, and high quality finish. Powder coated surfaces are more resistant to chipping, scratching, fading, and wearing than other finishes, and colors stay bright and vibrant longer. The mailbox is available in two finishes, including Bronze (most popular), and Black.
